Zacatecas

Zacatecas is the state capital, rich in history and tradition, situated in a gorge flanked by the historic Cerro de la Bufa, Cricket Hill, the hill of the Virgin and the hill of the Father, the soil is full of vaults streams and creeks, which is built on the city and gives it its special form. Is an important place for the role it played during the Mexican Revolution in a key battle for the triumph of the revolution in June 1914. This week receives cultural artists from all over the world and is considered one of the most important cultural festivals in America, just after Cervantino festival. In September is the National Fair of Zacatecas in the first three weeks of the month, is one of the leading fairs of Mexico, with events such as bull fights, which take place at the Monumental Plaza de Toros Zacatecas, cock fighting, exhibitions, artsticas variety and entertainment. Zacatecas offers various cultural events and has a large hotel infrastructure, is one of the best options for national and international tourism.

Plateros Sanctuary: The Sanctuary is home to Plateros Santo Niño de Atocha, the third most visited religious center in the country.
