Es la ciudad del estado Mexicano de Guanajuato, es considerada un pueblo mágico.
Founded in 1542 by Fray Juan de San Miguel, a Franciscan monk, San Miguel de Allende retains a rich colonialcharm with its coblestone streets and beautiful Sapnish colonial mansions, many of which have been restored to their former splendor. It's a protected national monument; all new constructions must conform to the colonial architecture.
The first thing that people notice in San Miguel is the Parroquia, a seudogothinc church in the heart of San Miguel de Allende.

This place is a picturesque city with colourful mansions, patios filled with flowers and wind, colonial streets, and is particularly beautiful when the Jacaranda flowers blossom. Is the most celebrated artistic community and it has been the point of attraction for mexicans and foreingners for decades. During Independence it was the centre of war activity and it's because of it that it's attractions, the preserved historic treasures, and the notable festivities make San Miguel de Allende the ideal place to visit.
I t offers a great quantity of cultural activity, entertainment, such as the music festival every December, a city with 6 saints and 12 churches, this is the home of a calendar full of religious activities throughout the year, the main celebration is for San Miguel Arcangel with dances, music and drinks.
One of the main things that distinguishes San Miguel from the other active city of Guanajuato is the shoping and the food. There is no limit for that and this is why it is called the best food in Mexico.
For those who seek for other type of recreative activities outside the city, the area provides several sites. Although it seems as the state is covered by desertic zones, forest areas can also be found.
