Playa del Carmen Tourism: Beaches, Tours and Hotels

The beaches are the main attraction of Playa del Carmen. Lover of water sports rock swimming, diving or snorkelling on doing the wonderful turquoise waters of the Great Mayan Reef, the second largest in the world. Playa del Carmen is famous for its nightlife. There are bars on the beach and people providing music, drinks, and generally, live entertainment, too. Unlike Cancun, you can walk from one bar to the next without having to climb into a car or bus, then walking to their hotel when the night is over.

Beach folklore does not end there. Different groups often appear entertaining. Perhaps we hear songs from typical duets or trios; hear beyond the sound of the marimba or a group of guapangueros of the Mexican state of Veracruz.
