Queretaro Recieves An Investment Of A Thousand Million For 2010

San Juan Del Rio. Starting next year he will begin construction of 11 hotels in Queretaro, totalling an investment of over one billion dollars, while the state government will invest 200 million to complete construction of the Convention Centre, said Governor Jose Calzada Rovirosa.

The president stressed that having a convention centre of this magnitude will attract more investment in tourism to the state, while it is intended that this will contribute to employment generation.

He said these actions are in response to the interest of entrepreneurs to invest in this entity, while intended as an incentive for more companies look to Queretaro a place where making their investments.

"In solidarity with employers, we will conclude the convention centre, which can give Querétaro that dynamism and the strength to come to the state many people from every corner of the country that come here to generate progress and growth economic, we will invest approximately 200 million additional dollars to what has already been spent, "he said.

It also highlighted the project Rovirosa Calzada Mayor Gustavo Nieto Chavez, to remodel the historic city centre, so he announced that there will be more investment in tourism in order to consolidate to Queretaro as one of the main destinations of the country.

In an interview, Secretary of State Tourism, Mauricio Salmon Franz added that these hotels will create thousand 184 rooms to be established in the municipalities of El Marques, Queretaro Corregidor and therefore will generate 850 jobs.
