Palenque, Chiapas. - In an intense working trip to the jungle area, the governor of Chiapas, Juan Sabines Guerrero, inaugurated the first phase of the redevelopment of the image and urban infrastructure of Palenque, one of 10 strategic cities of the entity, important tourist, cultural and commercial centres.
Accompanied by his wife, Isabel Aguilera de Sabines, president of Sistema DIF-Chiapas, the state ruler said that at this stage of the transformation of the image of Palenque citadina was invested 24 million 800 thousand pesos contributed by the federal, state and municipal.

Amid a festive event, where local people took to the new venue to greet the governor Sabines, for his birthday, Secretary of Infrastructure, Ricardo Serrano Pino, explained that this work consists of the extension of 401 meters for network drainage and sewerage of Avenida Juarez.

Water, sewage, education and improvement of air communication in Palenque
